Finalized Traffic Plan for Parking Lot Replacement August 19th
Hello Challenger Park Townhome Residents,
The finalized dates and traffic plans for re-paving the South two parking lots are as follows:
Night of the 8/18: Residents living in both of the South quads must park their vehicles in either the South-East Christian Church parking lot or the North quads of Challenger Park.
Thursday 8/19: Asphalt milling will occur. No vehicle access to South side garages. Our vendor expects to start construction at 7:30 a.m., vehicles parked in garages will not be permitted to leave during construction.
Friday 8/20: Asphalt patching will occur. No vehicle access to South side garages during construction. After construction hours cars will be able to park in parking spots (there will not be painted parking spots) and garages will be accessible by vehicles. Our vendor expects to start construction at 7:30 a.m., vehicles parked in garages will not be permitted to leave during construction.
Saturday 8/21: No construction will occur, normal traffic and parking. Normal vehicle garage access.
Sunday 8/22: No construction will occur. Normal vehicle access during the day. Sunday night, residents living in the South West quad must park their vehicles in either the South-East Christian Church parking lot or the North quads of Challenger Park Townhomes. Normal parking and garage access to the South East quad – no construction will occur on the South East quad.
Monday 8/23: Asphalt paving will occur on the South West parking lot, no vehicle access to the South West garages. Our vendor expects to start construction at 7:30 a.m., vehicles parked in garages will not be permitted to leave during construction.
Tuesday 8/24: Asphalt paving will occur on the South East parking lot, no vehicle access to the South East garages. P.M. access to South West garages returns to normal. Asphalt in the South West will be drying/settling, no parking or vehicle garage access in the South West quad. Our vendor expects to start construction at 7:30 a.m., vehicles parked in garages will not be permitted to leave during construction.
Wednesday 8/25: P.M. access to South East garages returns to normal.
There are plans to seal coat the asphalt along the main drive that will occur a few weeks out from the date of this project. There will be limited access during the seal coating of the main drive during this time. Dates and a finalized traffic plan will be announced at a later date.
